Please resize picture before uploading, we only allow a 500x500 picture/this saves on server space and page display times.
                First download and install the Image Resizer freeware by VSO software.(Optimized for Windows 2000/XP/Vista)

  Then Find the images that you would like to resize.  Display your images in a more convenient way by using the "thumbnail" view option (see figure 1)

To select the images you would like to resize, you can do this in one of three ways. 

1. if you want to select all the images hit CTRL+A on your keyboard
2. click on an image and hold your click until you have circled all the images you would like to resize.
3. Or you can simple hold down the CTRL key while clicking on each image that you want to resize.

Once the images are selected, right click over the highlighted images and select the option “VSO Image Resizer”

Now a new window opens which is the main interface of Image Resizer:

It's the list all the preset profiles that can be selected.  (1) you can enter in your own custom profile(500x500 for midstatetrader) and save it by clicking
on the floppy disc icon, or you can delete certain profiles you will not be using by selecting them and click on the red “x”.

Let’s take a look at each of the options numbered in Figure 4:

(1)  Resolution(choose 500x500 for midsatetrader) is defined in pixels, you can enter your personalized resolution; do not forget that you can select
        a preset profile for your images just above this option.
(2)  Filtering gives you quality options: Low, Medium, and Best
(3)  Format offers the following format conversions for your images: As original, Bitmap (.BMP), JPEG (.JPG), GIF (.GIF), PNG (.PNG)
(4)  Quality is an option available only if you want to convert your images format to a JPEG or leave as Original
(5)  Keep aspect ration of original will, if checked, keep your images height and width proportional to the original image.
(6)  Action allows you to choose whether you would like to make a “copy” of the images you are working with, “Resize the original”, or “move” the converted images to another location.
(7)  Destination is where you would like your images to go (only available if you selected option “move” or “create copies” under action (6)), by default this destination is the same place as the original image
(8)  Save as default if checked saves all of the settings set above, so that the next time you open VSO Image Resizer you to not have to reset for preferred conversion settings

So, to resize your images either select the profile size you would like to use or enter the desired Resolution (1) in figure 4.

By default leave the filtering at Best unless you prefer otherwise (2).

Select the format you would like to convert your image(s) to (3).(jpeg or gif for midstatetrader)

Select the quality (4), or leave at 80% (default setting)

Select the action (6), create a copy of original, ‘move’ the image, or resize the original.

Select a destination (7) of where you want your images to go only if you have selected the action ‘copy’ or ‘move’. 

And click “OK”:

VSO Image Resizer has now resized your images! Now you know how to resize digital images for Midstatetrader.
